A lovely Regency cup, beautifully painted with floral sprigs. Ring handle with eagle head finial. Scalloped gilded rim. Internal decoration of oeil de perdrix gilding on a light blue ground.

A cup of identical shape but different decorative scheme, bearing the same pattern number (964) as this piece is illustrated as plate 294 of Berthoud.
