Monumental Early Victorian Pine Estate Housekeeper’s Cupboard, circa 1840
A very impressive and sizeable solid pine antique Housekeeper’s Cupboard, dating from the early 19th century. Deep flush architectural moulded cornice over sliding glazed panelled doors, open to reveal fitted shelved interior. Porcelain escutcheons. Base benefiting from an array of drawers, two brushing slides, over two banks for three graduated frieze drawers. Central cupboard open to reveal fitted shelf, under another frieze drawer. All with turned sycamore handles. Superb original colour and patination throughout this magnificent piece.
