Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning original English circa 1880-1900 brass with marble base hat glove and coat stand.

This is a bit of a unicorn in the world of coat stands, it’s a very classically English style, I’ve not seen one with such a heavy weighted marble base before, ideal because it keeps the thing upright no matter how many coats you pile on there.

Condition report:

In terms of the condition it is straight and solid, the brass has a nice patination and looks very artistic from all angles, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom
