This mid century bureau bookcase has undergone total transformation in our workshop.

From tired boring brown to retro, groovy vibes!

We have given this a real feel for the 1970’s with retro style decoupage, bright orange paint and refinished teak wood.

Pull down the lockable flap (the lock has been replaced at some point and has two keys) to reveal plenty of stationary storage cubby holes, while the flap then forms a sturdy, flat writing area.

The shelves are encased with sliding glass doors useful for keeping books and papers dust free.

This is most definitely a one of a kind piece of furniture. Perfect for mid century lovers.
