Country Golden Oak Bookcase with Glazed doors and the top crown.
This has been removed from a private residence in a country estate in Norfolk.
The bookcase consists of 2 parts – top and bottom, which can be separated for easier transportation. Beautiful age patination, golden, rich, warm undertone.
It is glazed – top and bottom and can be used with or without inner fabric curtains ( included in the sale). Top half has 3 shelves and bottom 4 shelves.
Approximate year of build is 1920-1930s but in a very good condition for its age. By the look of it, it has a thin layer of lacquer applied to preserve the wood and patina, it has a nice sheen to it.
Height top of the crown to the floor is 262 cm, width at widest point is 129 cm and depth 50 cm.
It has been used before as a bookcase/storage and dining room display cabinet.
Condition report:
