Regency Mahogany Bookcase

A fine Regency mahogany open bookcase from the early 19th century. The back panels to the upper section are beautifully figured as is the lower top surface. The two drawers retain their original brass ring handles and are flanked by a pair of freestanding circular columns which flow into ribbed bun feet. Of nice manageable proportions and in very good condition for it’s 200 years. A great piece of brown furniture that would have brought more 30 years ago.
