This Scandinavian free standing bookcase in teak is a 3-bay modular shelving system known as “Ergo” designed by John Texemon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk and made in Norway in the 1960s. Stamp “Made in Norway” preserved. The slightly curved edges make a warm impression, and the sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement.

The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all drawers and doors work properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we have only rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old.
Clients from all around the world have trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece.
Condition report:
Overall the wall unit is in fantastic original condition with minor signs of wear as light circular marks on the top of two cabinets and a few shelves.
