Swiss Handmade Umbrella Stand Chalet Wooden Umbrella Stand With A Floral Design Swiss Farmhouse Decor

A traditional Swiss umbrella stand, hand crafted with pine wood and hand painted with beautifully bright colours. These type of umbrella stands, made in typical `Landhaus` or country house style, are commonly found in traditional Swiss alpine homes. This piece is a real beauty! It is hand made from Swiss pine and decorated front and back with a very pretty hand painted floral pattern. Inside, there is a metal bowl that fits snugly at the bottom, the purpose it to collect water and dirt from the umbrellas and walking sticks. It is removable for easy cleaning.

Condition report:

This vintage piece is in well-cared for condition. There is very some age-related paint wear. There is a tiny gap where the vertical wooden slats meet, see photo 9. They are held together firmly by the wooden bands at the top and bottom. The wood band at the top seems to be slightly pulling away from the body,
