1930’s carved oak art deco glazed library book case bureau.
This is extremely heavy. good quality, with a really thick gauge of timber used.
The fall front has a slight warp to it, also missing a piece of glass from one door – this is a flat piece of glass (the 3 strips of glass making a poor man’s concave glass).
approx 58″ tall x 48″ wide x 15″ deep at broadest points.
I have been getting the glass for about 9 months! I am sure you all know how it is?!
Because we sell things this cabinet is always full of figurines or tea sets, or whatever.
As the room this is in has just been painted, I had to empty it so it could be moved and I thought I would sell it with out its piece of glass! (quickly taking photos of it before it has something put in it)!
This is very much built to last and with the exception of the glass is in good solid condition with some age.
Unfortunately it is a very dark day so photo’s were tricky – it actually has a bit more tonal range than my pictures suggest.
the shelves are adjustable. The 2 locks to the doors work and have key.
The lock to the fall front section does not work properly but does have its key (I have made no attempt to free this lock).delivery from me is not possible on this. You could try shiply.com for multiple quotes.
please see all pictures (sorry for the quality of some of the images).
