Antique French Oak Astragal Glazed School Housekeeper’s Cupboard, c1860

Double astragal glazed doors open to reveal fitted shelving space. Over double panelled door cupboard, with fitted shelf. Brass stays, locks and escutcheons. A very substantial and solid piece. One side displaying signs of original bespoke cabinetmaking. This lends it to ideally be situated in an alcove or against a left hand side wall.

A superb and original solid French oak school cupboard, dating from the mid 19th century. In original condition throughout.
