Unknown Antique Musical Circa 1880 Black Forest Hand Carved Fox Whip Hook Glass Eyes

Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally rare, Musical, original circa 1880 Swiss made Black Forest wood, Fox whip hook with glass eyes

These are a very very rare piece, the foxes almost never come up for sale and with the glass eyes is even rarer, I have a few others as well in my collection, most have now sold, I have a pair of Dwarfs listed under my other items and a bear along with another single Dwarf which is cross legged

This one has the music box, the way it should work is you wind it up, leave it on the wall, then pull the hook down and it plays music, they are wonderfully temperamental and work when they feel like it

This has been cleaned waxed and polished, there will be normal age and use related patina
