Unknown Art Nouveau Wall Newspaper Stand In Metal Bordeau Red, Black & Gold, 1890s

A wall newspaper stand from a cafe or restaurant from the Art Nouveau period with subjects for the individual days of the week from Sunday to Saturday.

It is made of lacquered metal in Bordauxrot with a kind of shrinkpack. The newspaper holders with weekdays are painted in black with gold -colored font. At the head end, a gold-colored Art Nouveau decor adorns the newspaper stand.
