A superb and rare bureau cabinet, standing on square section legs with a lower tambour fronted sectional cupboard space, smooth running tambour with Brass handle.

A galleried central shelf with vase turned spindles.

Single full width drawer with Brass drop handle, drawer is fitted with baize rests to hold fall front when lowered.

Fall front opens to reveal Leather writing surface, pen rest, inkwell compartments and open cubbyholes for storage.

Upper shelf has three quarter fret work gallery with Bronze feathered scrolls to the front.

A sublime finely crafted piece of the highest quality.

In fine unrestored condition throughout, some wear to the Leather writing surface as can be seen.
