Unknown Stunning Large Blue Antique Double Fronted Cupboard With Drawers

A gorgeous, large and very original, teak cupboard from Rajasthan.

A substantial piece, with good solid quality construction and elegant proportions. It has two panelled doors with glass and a lovely wood and brass handle. The interior is divided horizontally, halfway, with two full width drawers and original double handles on both. The top shelf is complete with a front ‘lip’. It has original paint on the doors and overall has the wear and patina from many decades of use, with characterful knocks, scratches and small areas where the paint has worn, to reveal bare teak, as shown.

A rare, authentic find and a very attractive, usable piece.
