Unknown Vintage French High Quality Silver Plated Wire Wine Basket / Bottle Holder / Wine Pourer / Lovely Silver Gold Tone

A beautiful and uniquely designed high quality vintage French silver-plated steel wine pourer (verseur du vin); an attractive and useful addition to any kitchen, snug, bar, study or dining room, for indoor or al fresco dining. It has a lovely aged silver patina. This basket is different from most French wine baskets in that it is not woven at the sides but the side spindles are left bare. The wire has been woven into a beautiful cross hatch design in the base and has a very sturdy, fabulously designed handle where the wire has been carefully wrapped along its length. Lovely rounded end to the handle where the neck of the bottle sits. Bottles fit very snugly into this pretty wine pourer. Lovely for the dining table and a fabulous addition to a bar. Perfect for a wedding or special occasion dining table. A lovely gift for anyone who loves to entertain – a very nice vintage French wine basket to enhance any dining table. Condition report:

This vintage item is in a very good condition. It will most likely polish up to a bright silver shine, but I have left it in the unpolished condition as it was when I bought it which means it has a lovely antique aged silver tone.
