Lovely small vintage French wicker basket with beautiful woven handle and top rim. Lovely round shape. The basket is very practical and could be used for all manner of things, for example collecting eggs, herbs from the garden, small mushrooms, shells from the beach or as a decorative basket in the home to store face cloths, soaps, toiletries, dried flower arrangements, or why not use it for a wedding filled with rose petals to shower on the bride and groom? It would make a pretty wedding basket for a flower girl to carry down the aisle. It is a very practical little basket that could have so many uses. Lovely vintage condition. A small piece of downward and horizontal wicker missing but this does not affect the integrity of the basket.
