A vintage heavyweight French white enamel water bucket which has a blue enamel trim around the top rim. From the 1950s. This was probably used either as a washing bucket for clothes, or in the kitchen to collect household scraps to feed the pigs or chickens. A lovely item which is full of vintage charm and character. It is in a beautiful condition with some signs of age (some loss of enamel inside where it is a bit rusty), and rusty around the base. However, it is 100% watertight so can still be used as a bucket. It would look great filled with a huge bouquet of fresh flowers.
