Vintage Pencil Split Reed Rattan Bamboo Wicker Chest, 1930s 1950s

Vintage pencil split reed rattan bamboo wicker chest, ca 1950s -1960s. This absolutely stunning vintage piece came to us as 1920s-1930s but as we have never seen one we’ve put a some decades. It is in a vintage condition as can be seen on the pics, some small rattan pieces are missing, some patination, some fading, some rust on the nails everything you can expect of a piece of this age. We’ve decided not to touch it and leave it as is because we love this true original condition. If you are looking for a pristine, immaculate condition piece this chest is not for you but if you can appreciate its originality this is the one and besides we don’t think you will ever see another one come up for sale anyway, absolutely rare item.
